As on the previous 12", Rootical Attack has hired a renowned singer and talented musician. Jamaican star Johnny Clarke succeeds to Dixie Peach on the microphone, while Ras Divarius's violin embellishes the instrumental version, after Makiko's melodica. That Johnny Clarke excels on dub stepper is not a surprise but it is more unusual to find violin on this type of production. Finally, the magic of the music works and the soft and soothing side of the violin perfectly balances the raw and dark side of Tozer's stepper. A very nice idea indeed! On the B-side, the temperature rises again a notch, with "Arabian Step", ina heavyweight style... A new dub "warrior" from Tozer, that is to say two heavy mixes in bass, ideal in sound system !
